What a 3PL is and what Mubit Logística does
A 3PL (third-party logistics provider) runs part of another company's logistics: it receives the goods, stores them, prepares the orders and ships them. Mubit Logística is a 3PL in Guadalajara, Mexico, with 10,000 pallet positions and 4 warehouses. You bring the product and the orders. We bring the building, the forklifts, the operators and the system.
The five stages we run
1. Receive
We unload containers and trailers: up to 10 containers a day, and a bulk container by hand in 3 hours. We check your goods in by SKU and every operation is documented with photos.
2. Store
Racking under roof with a location for each SKU, 24/7 security and FIFO / FEFO handling.
3. Prepare
Picking, labeling, palletizing, stretch wrapping, packing, contract packaging and inventory counts. We also sell fumigated wooden pallets.
4. Ship
Pallet in and out, crossdock, and local and national freight, dedicated and consolidated. Freight is operated by subcontracted carriers.
5. Control
Your inventory in a real-time WMS, a monthly report and a WhatsApp group with our operations team.
What a 3PL costs with us
Warehousing is billed per pallet per month, from MXN $170 to MXN $220 plus VAT depending on your volume, with a minimum monthly billing of MXN $15,000 per month plus VAT. The WMS is free. Handling and the services you use, such as unloading a 40-foot container (from MXN $3,000) or preparing orders, are billed separately. All rates are in Mexican pesos. Who it is for, and who it is not
A 3PL suits you if you move dry, shelf-stable goods and would rather pay for the pallets you use than rent a warehouse and hire staff. We do not handle refrigerated goods, perishables, goods with strong odors or hazardous materials, and we do not operate bonded storage or IMMEX. What is a 3PL?
A company that runs another company's logistics. It receives the goods, stores them, prepares the orders and ships them, so you do not rent a warehouse or hire staff.
What is the difference between a 3PL and a warehouse?
With a rented warehouse you pay for the space and you run the operation. With a 3PL the operation is ours: forklifts, operators, system and handling.
What services are included?
Receiving and unloading, pallet storage, picking, labeling, palletizing, stretch wrapping, packing, contract packaging, crossdock and freight. Storage and the WMS have a fixed rate; handling is billed separately.
Is there a forced term?
No. The Flex and High Turnover plans are month to month. Only the Reserve option asks for 12 months, in exchange for guaranteed space and a 5% discount.
What is the minimum?
The minimum monthly billing is MXN $15,000 per month plus VAT, which is between 50 and 75 pallets.
Can I see my inventory?
Yes. You get real-time access to our WMS and a monthly report, at no extra cost.
Is my merchandise insured?
We carry a general insurance policy. You can join our policy or extend your own.
Do you do fulfillment for e-commerce?
Yes. We run orders from Mercado Libre, Amazon, Shopify and other platforms, including shipments to Full and FBA.
